News 24 should carry the BBC Six O’Clock News, then the BBC One 10 O’Clock, then Newsnight, then it’s own stuff. Why on earth they’re broadcasting simultaneous news from two different studios at the same time baffles me….

BBC One **alone** accounts for something around 36% of the BBC budget.

BBC Three, BBC Four, the seven national radio stations plus all the regional ones AND the entire website operation COMBINED are less than that.

Note that this has carefully been hidden in the current version of “How we spend the cash”
