I’ve nearly completed the migration. The XML export and then import was a peice of cake, but hells teeth getting all the images off is a nightmare! You’ve got to take each one off by hand, and typepad does not make that easy..
Also comparing interfaces… typepad’s just looks and feels rubbish. There’s crumb trails, two sets of tabs and then other things. I’ve not got time for all that…
Delete a post in typepad and it’s all check box ticking and dialogue confirmation.. hit delete in WordPress and the post in question flares red then disappears in what I imagine is clever ajaxery.
Mind you I’ve a good mind to shift it all on to my tumblr..
