Overnight Homechoice became Tiscali on my set top box. As well as a re-brand there’s been an upgrade to aspects of the service, particularly the video on demand. As well as replay (mainly for BBC shows) C1, which has recent and older series on demand, there’s now Free OD, Tiscali’s on demand service, which looks and feels (and probably will replace) very much liek C1. And finally ..drum roll.. 4oD is now on homechoice, and most of the UK content is free, the only thing you have to pay for is the big US import shows. And all the films are free too! In a letter to all homechoice users last week, they talked about launching a new PVR service in June, I’m not sure if that would be a hardware thing or just the ability to record stuff and suck it down the wire later?
Also Crystal palace was on Relocation Relocation last night. And we’ve got a fancy new bakery just opened up.. a proper bakery, selling real tasty bread. Yum.
