Back! for one day only! ahhh some colour on the homepage! Ok so garish ones at that, but then news readers dressed as Duran Duran is garish and hey, it’s for a good cause.
You don’t know how nice it was not to look at that blue for one day.. I hate that blue. Colours…. will return…maybe.

Yeah, the blue is rubbish, and as a result I find that I’m visiting the homepage *less*. The colour changing was a really *big* signal to users that the homepage regularly updates with new content, without it the page seems more static.
